Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional climate control solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of HVAC design, schematics, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration systems. Key Responsibilities:

Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial environments

Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation

Perform system diagnostics using electrical meters such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues effectively

Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards

Integrate building automation systems (BAS) to optimize system efficiency and control

Collaborate with service technicians on complex repairs involving ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R systems

Utilize welding skills and mechanical knowledge for equipment fabrication or repair as needed

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and ensure adherence to EPA regulations related to refrigerants

Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for transportation to job sites

Assist in plumbing and electrical diagnostics during installation or repair processes

Support property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems when required

Skills:

Extensive construction experience with a focus on HVAC installation projects

Proven service technician experience with mechanical systems repair and maintenance

Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documentation

Strong understanding of refrigeration principles including ammonia refrigeration systems

Knowledge of electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting using specialized tools like ohmmeters

Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC/R controls

Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and equipment repair techniques

Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of environmental regulations

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose issues accurately in complex mechanical systems

Field service experience working directly on-site with clients in diverse environments

Ability to perform appliance repair, property maintenance tasks, and general mechanical repairs as needed

Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities
