Customer Relations Specialist — This is a Customer Support / Sales Support role in a manufacturing company. Handling existing customer orders, answering questions about shipments and delivery, and coordinating with internal teams to make sure orders stay on track.
Location: Hampton, NH
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $28/hour
Job Description
- Serve as the main contact for customers with existing orders
- Answer questions about order status, shipping dates, lead times, and delivery
- Keep customers updated on delays or important changes
- Coordinate with Sales, Shipping, Compliance, and other departments
- Follow up internally to make sure customer requests are completed
- Handle customer returns and required paperwork
- Update customer and order information in Salesforce
- Escalate issues that require management or technical decisions
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of customer service, sales support, or administrative experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience is a strong plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute
- Experience with CRM/Salesforce preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Able to work well with different departments
