Job Overview
This role involves the management of tenants, property maintenance, and financial performance. Act as a liaison between property owners and tenants, addressing concerns and maintaining communication to foster a positive relationship.
- Collect rent and ensure timely payments
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints
- Conduct regular property inspections
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs
- Market properties and attract new tenants
- Conduct tenant screening and background checks
- Prepare and manage budgets for property operations
- Negotiate and enforce lease agreements
- Maintain records of income, expenses, and leases
- Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Handle eviction procedures when necessary
- Report to property owners on the status of properties
- Approve expenditures and maintain financial records
- Oversee and manage property staff
- Address emergency situations promptly
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience

- Proven experience in property management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in property management software
- Ability to handle multiple properties simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of local property regulations and laws
- Experience in marketing and tenant acquisition
- Financial management skills
- Ability to work weekends and evenings if required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to handle stressful situations calmly
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Valid driver’s license
