Temp Assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time
Pay: $25/hr
We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee a 80-unit affordable senior housing community. The ideal candidate will have strong property management and resident relations experience, preferably within affordable housing or senior living.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the community
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents
- Handle leasing, applications, renewals, and resident paperwork
- Maintain compliance with affordable housing/HUD requirements
- Coordinate work orders, maintenance, and vendors
- Collect rent and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate property and resident records
- Conduct inspections and ensure the property is well maintained
- Build positive relationships with residents and the surrounding community
- Communicate with ownership, vendors, and housing agencies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous property management or community management experience
- Affordable housing/HUD experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with a senior resident population
- Ability to handle multiple priorities independently
- Knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations a plus
