Soldering Technician
Location: Ellington, CT
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

A growing Transducer manufacturer is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join its manufacturing team in Ellington, CT. This position is responsible for assembling and soldering precision electronic and electromechanical components used in sensor and transducer products.
What You’ll Do
Perform hand soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, circuit boards, and small electronic components
Assemble precision sensor and transducer products according to work instructions, prints, and quality standards
Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship, and defects
Use hand tools including soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, tweezers, and measuring tools
Read and follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, work orders, and production documentation
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Identify basic assembly or soldering issues and report concerns to supervision or quality personnel
Keep a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Assist with additional assembly, testing, inspection, and production duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
Prior soldering, electronics assembly, cable assembly, or small-parts assembly experience preferred
Strong hand dexterity and ability to work carefully with small, detailed components
Ability to follow written work instructions, assembly prints, and wiring diagrams
Commitment to producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
IPC certification or familiarity with electronic soldering standards is a plus, but not required
High school diploma or GED preferred
