Certified Medical Assistant ($26/hour)

Primary care clinic hiring for certified medical assistant.
Type: 14 week contract
Pay: Up to $30/hr
Schedule:  M-F, 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that pre-visit paperwork has been completed.
• EKG’s, Point of Care testing, telephone triage.
• Gives immunizations.
• Maintains neat, clean and safe exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Patient care areas are clean, organized, and ready for patients.
• Alerts provider when the patient is ready to be seen and communicates all pertinent clinical information.
• Assist patients with check-out process.
• Cleans and prepares exam room for next patient.

Experience:

• High School graduate/GED
• Candidates require at least 1 year MA experience 
• National MA certification required upon permanent hire
• Solid injection/vaccine experience required
• BLS/CPR
• Epic experience preferred, but willing to train if need be
• Vitals, patient care, swabbing, injections
