Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: Potential for overtime as production needs require

A well established bearing and motion slide manufacturer is seeking a dependable, motivated Mechanical Assembler to join its production team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys building precision components, working with tools, and contributing to a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a go-getter mentality—someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, and is willing to jump in where needed to support production goals.
Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively
Read and follow basic blueprints, assembly prints, bills of materials, and written instructions
Inspect completed work for accuracy, fit, quality, and proper operation
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation
Identify assembly issues, missing components, or quality concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team members
Meet daily production and quality expectations
Support other production, assembly, and general shop tasks as needed
Work overtime when business demands require it
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or related hands-on experience; a combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered
Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring instruments
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain strong attention to detail
Basic ability to interpret mechanical drawings or blueprints is preferred
Reliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks
Ability to lift materials or components as needed in a manufacturing setting
