Certified Medical Assistant ($28/hour)

Cardiology clinic hiring for medical assistant
Hours: Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am-5p
Type: contract to potential hire

Responsibilities:

• Rooms patients when they arrive for visits, checks vitals and obtains and documents accurate vital signs, height, weight, pain level and allergies.
• Ensure that pre-visit paperwork has been completed.
• Point of Care testing, telephone triage.
• Gives immunizations, only if nationally certified. 
• Maintains neat, clean and safe exam rooms and treatment areas:
• patient care areas are clean, organized, and ready for patients,

Requirements:

• High School graduate/GED.
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience.
• Medical assistant certification or diploma
