Apartment Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Rotating Weekend Day Off | On-Call Required
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to independently maintain a 104-unit apartment community. This is a solo technician role requiring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests and apartment turns.
- Repair wall/window AC units, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections.
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and irrigation systems.
- Complete work orders accurately and participate in the on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
- Experience with wall/window AC units.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Preferred: HVAC/EPA certification, irrigation experience, and preventative maintenance knowledge.
