Lead Ultrasound Technician
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Full Time
Compensation: $71,500 – $133,500 + $15,000 sign-on bonus
Position Summary
Under the general guidance of the Operations Manager, the Lead Tech provides administrative and technical leadership for the Antenatal Testing Unit (ATU). The Lead Technologist leads, plans, and coordinates the daily operations of the ATU department through interactions with staff, administration, other departments, MFMs, and others as necessary. Primary duty is to coordinate all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure the delivery of quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards. This role is with a large, well-established healthcare system in the Boston area.
Must-Haves
- Associates degree or a 2-year patient-based allied health program (Ultrasound, Medical Sonography, or Radiology preferred), or Armed Forces equivalent medic/corpsman program (DD-214 required as proof)
- RDMS (Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required
- At least two years experience in Level 2 OB/GYN ultrasound required

- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
