Medical Assistant

Hours:
- Monday – Friday 8:30a – 5p
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and navigation support across mobile health units, shelters, and community sites
- Record vitals, patient histories, perform lab tests, and assist providers with exams
- Manage referrals, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate patient treatment plans
- Verify insurance, resolve coverage issues, handle prior authorizations, and assist with benefit applications
- Re-engage patients who have fallen out of care and assist with social barriers like transportation, housing, and food
- Translate for providers when needed and maintain accurate EMR records
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required
- Must have independent, reliable transportation
- Associate’s degree in human services or 2 years relevant experience
- Medical Assistant program completion
- CPR/BLS certification
Compensation:
- $24-27/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
