Shipper/Receiver
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-4:30pm but can modify to 6am-2:30pm once up and running
Pay: $22/hr
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to customer and company requirements.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification preferred or willing to obtain).
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or ERP software.
- Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and shipping regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and/or inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Forklift certification is preferred or the ability to become certified.
