Ophthalmologist (Non-Surgical Opportunity)
Location: New Haven, CT
Schedule: Full-Time
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist to join a growing ambulatory care team in New Haven, CT. This is a primarily office-based, non-surgical position focused on providing comprehensive ophthalmic care to a diverse patient population. While surgery is not required, opportunities to operate alongside residents may be available for interested candidates.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat diseases, disorders, and injuries affecting the eye and visual system.
- Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic evaluations and medical management.
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care using sound clinical judgment.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Practice within the scope of licensure, credentialing, and clinical privileges.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Eligible for or currently holding an active Connecticut medical license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Eligible for hospital admitting privileges as required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred but not required.
- Passion for serving diverse and underserved patient populations.
