Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is a critical part of the company’s payment lifecycle, responsible for managing accounts receivable, reducing delinquency, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving, with the ability to handle collections professionally while preserving positive client experiences.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and collect outstanding accounts receivable from customers
  • Analyze delinquent accounts, identify root causes, and implement solutions
  • Negotiate payment plans and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records, including notes, account updates, and customer information
  • Monitor assigned accounts and track collection activity using reports and systems
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and ensure timely payment
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to address account concerns and improve collections
  • Escalate complex collection matters to senior management when necessary
  • Process account adjustments and respond to customer inquiries promptly
  • Work to reduce overall accounts receivable delinquency while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed monthly performance goals, deadlines, and productivity targets
  • Ensure compliance with all consumer protection laws and company policies

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
