Medical Assistant @ Family Medicine/Primary Care Practice

Type: Temp-to-perm

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:30AM – 5:00PM
Overtime available – practice is open until 8:00PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday OR can work 12PM-8PM

About the Role & Practice:

  • Busy primary / family care practice with 6 providers, 10 patient rooms, and an onsite lab
  • Looking for a polished and positive professional who has a passion for patient care
  • Looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and who thrive working as part of a team
  • They have a lab on-site, so they will not be responsible for blood draws

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Medical Assistant Diploma required
  • National cert/registration preferred
  • EMR experience is required – practice utilizes E-MDs
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers with dressing changes using sterile techniques
  • Perform EKGs
  • Administer injections and immunizations
  • Maintain and care for equipment and environment according to JCAHO requirements
  • Maintain the oversight of lab tracking system within the unit
  • Assist with the orientation of new staff members as well as training of appropriate staff for the implementation of new tests and/or procedures
  • Responsible for more complex procedures and job duties as directed
  • Perform all other related duties to maintain the operational integrity of the practice  

…Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
