Registered Medical Assistant ($28/hour)

Clinic hiring for 2 medical assistants
Hours: either Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 8:30-5
Type: contract to hire

Requirements: 

• 2-3 years experience as a MA
• National Cert required, They will be doing immunizations
• High School graduate/GED.
• Must know how to take vital signs and give injections

Responsibilities:

• Rooms patients when they arrive for visits, checks vitals and obtains and documents accurate vital signs, height, weight, pain level and allergies.
• Ensure that pre-visit paperwork has been completed.
• Point of Care testing, telephone triage.
• Gives immunizations, only if nationally certified. 
• Maintains neat, clean and safe exam rooms and treatment areas
• Patient care areas are clean, organized, and ready for patients
• Alerts provider when the patient is ready to be seen and communicates all pertinent clinical information.
• Assist patients with check-out process.
• Cleans and prepares exam room for next patient.
