Medical Assistant
Greenwich, CT
Hours: 8:30a – 5:00p
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient medical records
- Preparing patients for visits, taking vitals, height, weight, blood pressure, EKG, specimen collection, phlebotomy, INR, pulse oximetry, spirometry, and documenting patient history in Epic
- Cleans exam/procedures rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits
- Assists physicians/providers with various procedures.
- Maintains knowledge of practice policy, HIPPA, current coding, OSHA regulation and CLIA regulations
Qualifications:
- Degree in Medical Assisting
- Prior experience in high-volume clinical setting
- OB/GYN or Family/Primary medicine experience preferred
- Proficiency with EKGs, manual blood pressure checks, and POCT
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Epic proficiency
Pay
- $20-24/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
