Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Location: Southeastern Massachusetts

A well-established, physician-led multispecialty medical group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing Rheumatology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced, board-certified rheumatologist in a collaborative outpatient setting with strong clinical support.

*Experienced Rheumatology providers are encouraged to apply, though motivated new graduates with a strong interest in Rheumatology or relevant clinical experience will also be considered!

Position Highlights

  • Full-time (40 hours/week) preferred, 32-hour schedule will be considered

  • Monday-Friday daytime hours

  • No nights, weekends, or hospital responsibilities

  • Outpatient-only practice

  • Work alongside an established Rheumatologist and experienced Nurse Practitioner

  • Immediate hiring opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions

  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician

  • Manage follow-up care and ongoing disease management

  • Educate patients on chronic disease processes and treatment options

  • Document patient encounters using electronic medical records

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while working both independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • Active or eligible Massachusetts NP or PA license

  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

  • Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (or ability to obtain)

  • Rheumatology experience preferred

  • Strong new graduates with relevant clinical rotations or related experience are encouraged to apply

  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills
