Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
Location: Southeastern Massachusetts
A well-established, physician-led multispecialty medical group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing Rheumatology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced, board-certified rheumatologist in a collaborative outpatient setting with strong clinical support.
*Experienced Rheumatology providers are encouraged to apply, though motivated new graduates with a strong interest in Rheumatology or relevant clinical experience will also be considered!
Position Highlights

Full-time (40 hours/week) preferred, 32-hour schedule will be considered

Monday-Friday daytime hours

No nights, weekends, or hospital responsibilities

Outpatient-only practice

Work alongside an established Rheumatologist and experienced Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities
-
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions
-
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
-
Manage follow-up care and ongoing disease management
-
Educate patients on chronic disease processes and treatment options
-
Document patient encounters using electronic medical records

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while working both independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
-
Active or eligible Massachusetts NP or PA license
-
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
-
Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (or ability to obtain)

Rheumatology experience preferred
-
Strong new graduates with relevant clinical rotations or related experience are encouraged to apply

Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills
