Maintenance Technician
*Temp covering a leave for at least 3 months, potentially longer
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
Pay: $22-25/hour
*Providing coverage for group homes and offices in RI, MA and NH
*Will be utilizing company van
Qualifications:
- Vocational or trade school graduate
- Standard driver’s license
- 1-3 years’ related experience
Responsibilities:
- Receive assignments and work orders
- Review work orders for priority status and designated time schedules
- Perform general carpentry work including, but not limited to the installation and/or repair of suspended ceilings, drywall, woodwork, furniture, doors, windows, walls, flooring ceramic tiles, roofs, fences etc
- Complete “minor” electrical work, including, but not limited to the installation and/or repair of fixtures, resetting of breakers, replacement of fuses, replacement of hard to reach or complicated light bulbs, resetting of alarms, pulling of electrical, data, telephone, audio/visual wires, etc., where a licensed master electrician is not required by law
- Prepare repairs and paint walls, ceilings, floors, etc., both inside and outside
- Remove snow and ice water or debris as assigned or required
