Busy third-party IT support company is looking to add an experienced Help Desk Technician to their growing network and server support team.
We are looking for someone with strong network and server troubleshooting experience who also has hands-on electronics repair and diagnostic skills. This role involves both phone-based and remote technical support for customers experiencing hardware, software, and networking issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide phone and remote technical support for network, server, and system-related issues
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems
- Assist customers with system integration and compatibility troubleshooting
- Support field sales and technical teams with product, networking, and system recommendations
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately
- Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of recent hands-on IT, network, or server support experience
- Experience troubleshooting network infrastructure, servers, and system integration issues
- Hands-on electronics repair or hardware troubleshooting experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of hardware/software compatibility and diagnostics
- Ability to walk customers through technical troubleshooting over the phone
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical training/experience preferred
