Medical Sonographer (OB/GYN)

Full-Time (32 hours) or Part-Time Opportunity

Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch break
  • Part-time candidates should have availability on Mondays and Thursdays

Position Overview

An established healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Medical Sonographer to support a busy OB/GYN team. This role focuses primarily on obstetrical and pregnancy-related imaging in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, provides compassionate patient care, and has strong clinical ultrasound experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a primary focus on obstetrical imaging
  • Conduct fetal biometry, anatomy assessments, and related sonographic studies
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures
  • Document and communicate technical findings to providers
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms
  • Coordinate scheduling for ultrasound appointments and procedures
  • Support clinical staff with additional patient care duties as needed
  • Participate in collaborative, team-based patient care

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Sonography required
  • Associate degree from an accredited sonography program preferred
  • Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required
  • CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred
  • Experience in OB/GYN imaging strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical software preferred
