Position Summary
 Senior CNC Programmer with strong Esprit programming expertise to support a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for programming, proving-out new parts, optimizing machining processes, and supporting production across multiple CNC platforms including Swiss, Lathe, Vertical, and Multi-Axis equipment.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining throughput, supporting new capital equipment, and driving continuous improvement within the Machine Shop.
Key Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machines using Esprit CAM software for complex components.
  • Perform full prove-out and validation of new programs on the shop floor.
  • Support machining operations across:
    • Swiss Type Machines (Star & Hanwha)
    • Lathe Platforms (including Puma)
    • Vertical Mills / Robodrill
    • 2–5 Axis Mori machines
  • Optimize cycle times, feeds & speeds, and tooling strategies to improve throughput.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
  • Update and maintain routers, setup sheets, and machining documentation.
  • Standardize tooling and streamline processes to reduce setup time and variability.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to machinists and setup operators.
  • Assist with new machine integration, programming strategy, and workflow improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Esprit CAM software.
  • Proven ability to program and troubleshoot:
    • Swiss type machines (Star, Hanwha preferred)
    • Multi-axis lathes and mills
  • Experience with full program prove-out and shop floor collaboration.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a process-improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Mori Seiki, Puma, or Fanuc-based platforms.
  • Background supporting high-mix / medium-volume production environments.
  • Knowledge of tooling standardization and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience working within ERP systems,OEE and updating manufacturing routers.
