Medical Assistant

Pay: $20-23/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:45/9AM – 5PM

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience as Medical Assistant
• Must have phlebotomy experience
• Completion of Medical Assistant program required
• Experience with Epic and CKD/Caretracker preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Triage patients
• Obtain vitals, height and weight, and blood pressure
• Record medication information
• Review and document medications
• Perform phlebotomy
• Document immunizations
• Print lab documents
• Check patients in and out
• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls
• Provide customer service to patients
• Complete patient registration
• Schedule patient appointments
• Complete insurance verification
• Process and collect co-payments
• Provide clinical and administrative support
