Medical Assistant ($24/hr) – Trumbull, CT

Contract to potential hire!

Schedule: M-F 8:30 – 5:00 PM

Rate: $20-$24/hr DOE

Description:

• Prepare patients for examinations, record medical histories/vital signs, assist with physical exams and minor surgeries, sterilize instruments, collect lab specimens, and administer medications under physician supervision.
• Schedule patient appointments, manage electronic health records (EHR), check patients in/out, manage medical billing/coding, handle insurance forms, and manage office inventory.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• At least 1 year of Medical Assisting experience.
