Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of full-cycle accounting and play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement. This position requires a hands-on professional who operates at a true senior level—someone who can work independently, think critically, and contribute to strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Accounting
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and ensure timely close processes
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
- Deliver clear and actionable financial reporting to leadership
Fixed Assets & Accounting Operations
- Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations
- Ensure proper tracking and reporting of capital expenditures
Systems & Process Improvement
- Leverage ERP systems to manage financial data and improve reporting efficiency
- Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with clear Senior Accountant-level responsibilities
- Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Proven expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with fixed assets accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Background in manufacturing is a plus, but candidates from any industry are encouraged to apply
- Experience in fast-paced or growth-oriented environments
