Litigation Assistant 

A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Assistant to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced office located in Downtown LA.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and communicate with clients, court personnel, and vendors daily.
  • Assist with scheduling, including calendar maintenance, depositions, and client/expert meetings.
  • Handle federal and state court ilings.
  • Maintain both paper and electronic files.
  • Prepare and revise correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents.
  • Provide support for assigned attorneys and assist as needed.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least Seven years of recent experience as a legal assistant, preferably in litigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent proofreading ability.
  • Prior experience filing documents in both federal and state courts, including e-filing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
