Pricebook Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and service-focused Pricebook Manager to oversee accurate product pricing, item setup, and price changes across all convenience store locations. In this role, you will ensure pricing integrity, support store operations, manage PDI and POS systems, and deliver exceptional internal customer service. This position is essential to maintaining a smooth retail operation and ensuring our teams have the tools and information they need to succeed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations and oversee the accuracy of the company's price book database.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and responsive support to retail operations and store personnel.
  • Provide pricing solutions, analytics, and reporting to maximize both sales and profitability.
  • Manage product setups, price changes, vendor updates, and in-store promotional pricing.
  • Partner with Accounting, Category Management, Marketing/Merchandising, and C-Store Operations to implement pricing strategies and new programs.
  • Identify and resolve store-level UPC scanning issues within a 24-hour turnaround window.
  • Ensure promotional details are updated in the price book system; communicate timely buy-in opportunities to stores.
  • Review, update, and import data from vendors; manage EDI processes.
  • Fully manage the PDI system, including reporting to multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve vendor-related accounting and pricebook discrepancies.
  • Provide training, technical guidance, and process improvement recommendations to team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in retail analytics, pricing, POS systems, rebate systems, and/or pricebook management.
  • Hands-on PDI experience is required (this is the most critical qualification).
  • Experience managing pricing workflows in a multi-store POS environment.
  • Strong analytical and technical abilities with experience navigating multiple retail systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including expertise with MS Excel and knowledge of file-organization structures.
  • Understanding of industry quality standards, certifications, regulatory requirements, and category trends.

Pay for this role is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year DOE
