Product Manager, Mortgage Servicing

Overview:

Job Purpose 

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with deep expertise in Mortgage Servicing and Servicing Acquisition Solutions to lead the development of a system-to-system servicing acquisition platform. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, translating complex servicing operations into scalable, technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will drive product strategy, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver impactful outcomes that support servicing transfers and portfolio growth.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Define and the product vision and roadmap for servicing acquisition solutions, aligning with business goals and customer needs. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle—from discovery and design to development, testing, and deployment. 
  • Engage with clients to define business requirements, document pain points and communicate project status 
  • Translate mortgage servicing requirements into clear product features and user stories, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational standards. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and architecture teams to design scalable system-to-system integrations for servicing transfers. 
  • Engage with servicing operations and business stakeholders to gather feedback, validate solutions, and prioritize enhancements. 
  • Monitor product performance and adoption, using data-driven insights to iterate and improve functionality. 
  • Ensure documentation and training materials are created to support internal users and external partners during onboarding and servicing transitions.  
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and servicing technologies to inform product strategy and innovation.  

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.  
  • 5+ years of experience in Mortgage Servicing, with direct involvement in servicing acquisition, transfer, or onboarding projects. 
  • Strong understanding of servicing operations, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Proven experience managing software development lifecycles, preferably in Agile or Scrum environments. 
  • Ability to define product strategy, create roadmaps, and manage backlogs aligned with business goals. 
  • Demonstrated success working with engineering teams to deliver system integrations, APIs, and data-driven solutions. 
  • MSP experience required 
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technical teams. 
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, ADO and MSP
  • Experience with data mapping, ETL processes, and system-to-system integrations is a plus.
