Human Resources Coordinator
The San Luis Resort is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating a variety of HR programs and assisting colleagues with HR related tasks and questions.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal and external Human Resources related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Redirect Human Resources related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
- Assist with all different facets of Human Resources operation including recruitment, training and basic information of benefits
- Assist with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly completed
- Assist with organizing and executing employee events and celebrations
- Responsible for resort wide communication. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents as needed.
- Complete administrative duties including ordering office supplies, creation of flyers, managing and maintaining files, records and databases.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is required
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Physical demands: sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
