Overview: Perform diversified administrative responsibilities, support the Department Sr. Leadership and related faculty by providing administrative support services. Responsibilities: May supervise clerical and administrative personnel bycommunicating job expectations, assigning tasks, appraisingjob results, and performing employee corrective actions. Assists Chair/ Director in any administrative tasks assigned.Provides input for administrative staff recruiting, selecting,orienting, and training employees Prepares and processes physician recruitment relatedactivities for searches, staff appointments, credentials,promotion and tenure, immigration requirements forcandidates, in accordance with Compliance andAdministrative Affairs offices In collaboration with Director, initiates and coordinates goalsand deadlines. Creates reports and communicates datametrics. Assists with projects as well as developing andimplementing policies and procedures to improveadministrative operations and function of the department Maintain and process department payroll, maintains/updatespersonnel files for faculty, monitors calendars, coordinates/schedules meetings Ensures travel reimbursement/expenses for faculty aresubmitted in a timely fashion; reconcile and submit monthlyexpense reports as needed Types correspondence, schedule appointments, and setsinterview itineraries for faculty and staff, and assists withsetting of monthly faculty meeting agenda Orders supplies and equipment for the department staff andfaculty. May approve leave requests for staff Qualifications: Experience Requirements:3 years - Administrative support experience, in a medical office or medical related facility - required1 year - Supervisory experience and/ or Executive Assistant experience - requiredEducation:High School Diploma - requiredAssociates degree- Business or related field - preferredSupervises:1-2 - Senior Medical Secretary1-2 - Administrative AssistantAdditional Duties:Additional duties as assigned may vary
