Patient Accounting Supervisor DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Responsible for managing all aspects of hospital/physician patient accounts for Berkshire Health Systems which includes daily work processes, changes in regulations, reimbursement and billing, along with management and human resource duties of staff. Works autonomously with staff to address and direct staff issues as needed. Customer Service Representative DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION The Customer Service Representative is responsible for incoming and outgoing phone calls for the Patient Accounting Department to facilitate the billing and collection of all self-pay patient accounts receivables. The fiscal aspects are from the initial billing of Self-Pay accounts, setting up payment arrangements and follow-up through final resolution of the accounts, including referral to Collection Agencies.
