Overview: The Director of Imaging Services is responsible to direct radiology services by providing short and long-range planning, establishing standards of quality, productivity and performance, formulation of goals and policies, assignment of responsibilities, the monitoring of and accomplishment of goals and financial performance, as well as assessing the unique contribution of each business line so as to maximize individual potential. The Director of Imaging Services works closely with the medical directors and radiologists as well as the supervisors of each business line (or modality) in establishing the operational targets.
