Job Description
Responsible for the business components of the law firm, including finance and accounting, information technology, human resources oversight and business operations and management. Report to the Managing Partner and Management Committee, and advise on issues affecting the business operations of the law firm. Experience with Law Firm Operations and Policies and Procedures. Finance and Accounting: Responsible for all finance and accounting, including day to day cash management and billing and receivables management. Provide support to Office Manager and administrative assistants on billing and accounting matters. Prepare monthly financial reports for distribution to partners and other attorneys as directed. Work directly with outside CPA firm for tax return preparation and other matters. Prepare Fixed Asset Listings and depreciation reports in conjunction with outside CPA firm.
