Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Market Revenue Cycle Advisor to lead and improve revenue cycle operations across multiple centers. This role is responsible for optimizing all aspects of revenue cycle management—from pre-admission through discharge—ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient billing and collections.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, data-driven problem solver, and experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-facility environment.
Serve as the RCM subject matter expert for the market, supporting the Market President and center teams on all payer types, with priority on Medicaid Pending and Private accounts.
Oversee and train Market and Center-level RCM staff to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and key performance metrics.
Monitor and improve financial outcomes including cash collections, bad debt reserve, AR aging, and DSO performance.
Conduct regular reviews of collections, outstanding receivables, and payer-specific trends; develop and execute corrective action plans.
Supervise Market Medicaid Advisor, Market Eligibility Advisor, Market Business Office Advisor, and Market Floating BOM—including timecard approvals and scheduling.
Ensure accurate census and billing processes, month-end close procedures, and timely submission of all reconciliations.
Lead communication efforts across Market and Center teams, ensuring all process updates and metrics are cascaded consistently.
Participate in national and market-level RCM calls, training sessions, and performance reviews to identify and implement process improvements.
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration to achieve optimal revenue outcomes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
2. Minimum of two years in a long term care management company with billing experience
3. Knowledge of long term care rules and regulations
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office
5. This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
