As the Assistant Director of Environmental Services (EVS), you will help drive operational excellence, elevate the patient experience, and support a culture of service and accountability.
Responsibilities:The Assistant Director of EVS oversees daily operations, staff leadership, and administrative functions to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety. This role partners with the Director to monitor operational and financial performance, departmental goals, and key performance indicators.
This position leads managers, supervisors, and staff in executing departmental strategies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include conducting quality assurance rounds, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing improvement plans to enhance service, compliance, and efficiency.
Additional responsibilities include oversight of staffing coverage, supply and equipment management, payroll and timekeeping, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The Assistant Director also provides leadership coverage in the Director’s absence.
