We are seeking a Sales Development Manager to drive new sales growth by developing and maintaining strong client relationships, building and managing a healthy sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Sales Development Manager Position Overview

 

We are seeking a results‑driven sales leader to drive new revenue growth within a designated vertical. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing and managing a healthy sales pipeline, and partnering closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of client solutions. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong relationship management skills, and a hands‑on approach to sales execution. This role plays a key part in shaping sales strategy, monitoring market trends, and supporting team development through coaching, collaboration, and performance insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Build, cultivate, and retain strong relationships with new and existing clients by identifying partnership opportunities and expanding current portfolios.
  • Own and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue generation and alignment with short and longterm growth objectives.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to support sustained growth within the assigned vertical.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Operations, Marketing, and other internal partners to ensure seamless execution and delivery of client commitments.
  • Track and report performance metrics using established templates, participating in scheduled sales meetings and ad hoc updates as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategy, helping define goals, priorities, and growth initiatives for the vertical.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to identify opportunities and inform innovative, customerfocused solutions.
  • Demonstrate leadership through coaching and mentorship, fostering open communication and a collaborate, performance-drive sales culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.

 

 Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. An equivalent combination of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account growth within a defined vertical
  • Strong relationship‑building and client‑facing skills, with the ability to influence and partner at multiple levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a sales pipeline
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional internal teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to coach, mentor, and drive team performance
