The Carrier Sourcing Representative is responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and introducing new carrier relationships for NFI’s Brokerage Division. The focus of this position is to build relationships with new carriers to NFI that fit the ideal carrier profile.
This role reports to the Capacity Manager in Chicago.
BA or BS Degree preferred
2 - 5 years Brokerage experience preferred, working with domestic truckload providers.
Self-motivated and customer service orientation
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment that involves learning and using multiple applications and handling a high volume of phone calls
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of TMS programs used for brokerage services
Market knowledge of truckload lanes, rates, and market fluctuations.
Individual commitment towards sharpening existing or acquiring new skills as required by the demands of the business or customers.

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $28.85-31.25. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
