Overview:
Reporting to the RVP of Warehouse Distribution, the primary role of this position is to develop and oversee the QA/QC-Food Safety program for multiple distribution centers. This includes maintaining documentation regarding HACCP, GMP, SOP, and employee training. The Quality Food Safety Manager is also a team leader for third party audits. Assures compliance with applicable quality, food safety and regulatory standards. Support, implement, and maintain food safety and quality practices as required through internal and external standards. This position will oversee the management of the QA/QC-Food Safety program, and will develop, implement and monitor company policies and procedures as related to Food Safety, Food Security, and Quality Assurance programs. Coordinates and follows up on activities by performing the following duties personally with the assistance of site leadership.
