Provides administrative leadership and operational support for the delivery of professional nursing care within the Department of Nursing and Patient Services.

Provides administrative leadership and operational support for the delivery of professional nursing care within the Department of Nursing and Patient Services.

Responsible for strategic planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of systems that support professional nursing practice and align with the organization’s goals and nursing vision.

Maintains 24/7 accountability for unit operations, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.

Leads and supports staff in achieving the organization’s mission of excellence in patient care and advancing nursing practice through autonomy, accountability, patient advocacy, and innovation within a collaborative, trust-driven environment.

• Minimum of five (5) years of professional nursing experience required, with prior Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required, or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire.
• National nursing board certification in a relevant specialty required, or must be obtained per VP/AVP agreement.
• Proven leadership and management competencies, including knowledge and application of advanced nursing practice, continuous quality improvement (CQI), care delivery models, healthcare systems, and budget management.
