Job Details
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist / A/R Follow-Up Representative to support our revenue cycle team by driving resolution of outstanding claims and ensuring timely reimbursement.
This role focuses on denials, underpayments, and aging accounts, working directly with payers and internal teams to move claims to payment.
Responsibilities:
Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and underpayments
Work assigned A/R queues (no-response, appeals, aged accounts)
Contact payers via phone, portals, and written communication
Review remittance advices and resubmit claims with corrections
Identify trends in denials and payment delays
Maintain accurate documentation and tracking
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve claim issues
