Job Description
An endocrinology clinic is seeking a full time Medical Assistant.
Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 – 5:00 PM or 8:00 – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20-$24/hour (depending on experience)

Position Summary
The Medical Assistant supports physicians and clinical providers by preparing patients for visits, assisting with clinical procedures, managing chart documentation, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This individual plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Accompany patients to exam rooms and prepare them for visits
- Collect and record vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, and other clinical measurements
- Perform tasks such as EKGs, specimen collection, phlebotomy (if applicable), INR testing, pulse oximetry, and spirometry
- Document medical, surgical, family, and social histories, medication lists, and problem lists in EPIC
- Assist providers with in-office procedures
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Manage and routinely check the EPIC In-Basket
- Answer and return patient calls in a timely manner
- Process incoming and outgoing medical records; abstract new patient information into EPIC
- Support front desk functions including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, and scanning
- Clean exam rooms, equipment, and instruments between patients following infection-control protocols
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment (if applicable)
- Maintain working knowledge of practice policies, HIPAA, OSHA, coding, and CLIA guidelines
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- MA diploma (or CMA/RMA credential)
Qualifications Preferred:
- 1+ years of clinical experience
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care
- EPIC EMR experience
- CCMA, CMA, AAMA, or RMA certification
