HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

HR Coordinator — Archbold Living Pelham

Position Description

Responsibilities:

Work to ensure policies and procedures are followed throughout facility

Properly communicate and work with administrator and human resources to resolve team member issues/concerns

Assist in developing and maintaining position descriptions and evaluations

Maintain team member files, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws/regulations

Ensure team member files are current, including current licensure/certification/registrations

Process employment paperwork from new hire documentation through to employee status changes and terminations

Submit requests for new/vacant positions

Review applications for employment, schedule, and participate in interview processes as needed

Process verifications for employment, education, and references as well as background checks

Review time and attendance ensuring correct usage of time system, edit as needed

Ensure employee satisfaction, support employee engagement and recruiting initiatives

Skills:

Must be professional, neutral, and comfortable making the appropriate decisions for employees and the organization

Strong interpersonal skills are a must, along with strong verbal and written communication skills

Ideal candidate must be organized and detail oriented

Must be able to balance workload with the ability to multitask

Candidate should be comfortable dealing with employee issues, including addressing disciplinary issues as needed

Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum of two years experience in Human Resources preferred, especially in a healthcare environment
