Maintenance Assistant
Hours: M-F 6am – 2:30pm
Location: Boston, MA
Pay: $22-24/hour
Job Description:
- Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment
- Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
- Conduct equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and cleaning
- Monitor machine performance and escalate issues promptly
- Follow safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, and calibration
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
- Technical high school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of work experience (any field)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in electromechanical systems
- Ability to use basic hand tools and follow technical instructions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Motivated, eager to learn, and open to long-term growth
…Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
