The Role

As the Senior HR Business Partner / HR Manager, you will partner closely with the Head of Operations and site leaders to drive performance through people. You’ll lead the HR function on-site, delivering both strategic initiatives and hands-on support in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

Partner with site leadership to drive a high-performance, accountable culture

Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies

Deliver engagement initiatives and embed company values across the site

Manage HR budgets and align people strategies with business goals

HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure compliance with US labor laws (OSHA, FMLA, EEOC)

Oversee employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution

Lead HR policy development and continuous improvement initiatives

Support audits (e.g., SMETA) and external stakeholder engagement

Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and develop the site HR team

Build capability across people managers through coaching and guidance

Talent & Development

Oversee recruitment strategy and workforce planning

Drive performance management and talent development frameworks

Champion learning, multi-skilling, and career progression initiatives

Safety & Culture

Promote a “safety-first” culture in partnership with site leaders

Support food safety (HACCP, GMP) and workplace safety compliance

About You

5+ years’ HR generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing or high-volume environments

Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR best practices

Proven ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leaders

Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on

Experience leading teams and delivering results through others

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Experience with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms
