Full-Time | Onsite
$90-115k based on experience

A growing, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Practice Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day clinical operations and support continued expansion. This is a newly created role due to organizational growth, offering the opportunity to step into a key leadership position and help shape operational infrastructure.

Position Overview
The Practice Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations, high-quality patient care, and regulatory compliance. This individual will partner closely with clinical and executive leadership to drive performance, improve workflows, and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations
  • Supervise and support clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Partner with leadership to address personnel matters and staffing needs
  • Identify workflow gaps and implement process improvements
  • Monitor provider productivity and operational performance metrics
  • Manage scheduling, including provider coverage and time-off requests
  • Oversee clinic ordering, inventory, and vendor coordination
  • Support EMR optimization, updates, and troubleshooting
  • Participate in budgeting processes and review operational expenses
  • Lead performance management, including evaluations and staff development
  • Ensure staff compliance with credentialing, training, and continuing education requirements

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS)
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, clinical metrics, and key performance indicators
  • Conduct audits and support resolution of patient or staff concerns
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting standards
  • Collaborate with leadership on program development and operational strategy

Patient Experience

  • Address patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and patient-centered environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5–7+ years of healthcare operations or practice management experience
  • Experience supervising staff and managing clinical workflows
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Athena, Epic, eClinicalWorks)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
