Relationship Intelligence Specialist

Job Description

The Relationship Intelligence Specialist supports the firm’s CRM, ERM, and integrated relationship intelligence platforms by maintaining accurate data, supporting system functionality, and assisting attorneys and business development teams in leveraging relationship insights. Reporting to the Relationship Intelligence Manager, this role plays a key operational role in ensuring relationship data and intelligence tools are reliable, accessible, and effectively used. The Specialist focuses on execution, data quality, and day-to-day support across CRM-connected systems that inform targeting, outreach, and client development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

           Core Platform & Data Support

  • Ensure CRM, ERM, and relationship intelligence platforms are reliable, well-maintained, and effectively leveraged by users.
  • Support data hygiene initiatives by coordinating validation, cleanup, and enrichment efforts-partnering with vendors and enabling users to maintain quality at the source.
  • Oversee data synchronization across integrated systems; identify issues, coordinate fixes, and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence.

    Relationship Intelligence & Reporting Support

  • Fulfill routine requests for relationship searches, lists, and summaries to support business development, key accounts, and leadership.
  • Assist with data pulls and quality checks for standard reports and dashboards prepared by the Relationship Intelligence Team. 
  • Identify and flag data gaps, anomalies, or integration issues that may affect reporting or insights.

    Taxonomy, Data Quality & Data Hygiene Support

  • Support taxonomy tagging and metadata application within CRM and relationship platforms, ensuring alignment with firmwide classification standards.
  • Execute data cleaning and standardization tasks following established protocols.
  • Maintain logs of data quality activities and outcomes.
  • Support data hygiene initiatives, including vendor-assisted cleanup projects, under the direction of the Relationship Intelligence Manager.
  • User Support, Documentation & Enablement
  • Provide front-line support to attorneys and Marketing & BD teams using CRM, ERM, and related tools.
  • Offer guidance on basic functionality and best practices; escalate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, quick-reference guides, and contribute to new user training and onboarding materials.
  • Track common user questions and suggest documentation or training improvements.
  • Coach users toward self-sufficiency, building their confidence to navigate platforms independently.
  • Collaboration & Professional Standards
  • Work closely with Relationship Intelligence, Business Development, Marketing, and Enablement teams to support firmwide initiatives.
  • Handle sensitive relationship data with professionalism and discretion.
  • This role requires 60% in-office presence; remote work is permissible 40% of the time. Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting CRM, ERM, or related relationship intelligence systems, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Experience working with CRM-integrated tools and data hygiene or enrichment solutions.
  • Understanding of taxonomy principles and metadata management.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage routine requests efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels including attorneys and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, documentation and administrative skills.
  • Experience creating user guides, training materials, or support documentation.
  • Customer service orientation with focus on enabling user self-sufficiency.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new systems, integrations, and vendor tools quickly.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
