Job Description
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
- Pay: $23
- Hours: Full Time
- Shifts: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
- Location Bloomfield, CT
Job Duties
- verify what is on the invoice to what is in the box
- follow directions and use a computer.
- Basic administrative duties
- Help with processing of orders
- Calling vendors for status
- Receiving orders.
- Driving a forklift
- Checking/counting inventory
Qualifications
- Experience working in the Shipping Department of a Manufacturing company
- Willing to come to work every day
- Positive attitude
- Not fazed by changes in priority
- Detail oriented (ie, able to follow instructions on work order without mistakes)
- Able to understand shipping work order, deduct parts pulled on inventory tag, package so parts don’t break, organize shipping paperwork and put in box, create shipping label, and communicate shipments to Sales & Operations.
- Package part to store in inventory
- We don’t need people who are used to heavy, big parts. All of our parts are under 25 lbs and are small
- Friendly cooperative attitude is everything
…Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
