Successfully maintain attorneys’ appearance and trial calendars
Maintain proficient knowledge of up-to-date court filing deadlines and timelines
Adhere to court filing deadlines and trial timelines
Perform e-filing and filing with various courts (state and federal) for various motions
Prepare pleadings and discovery documents for filing and service
Prepare, draft and/or finalize notices, letters, and subpoenas and request appropriate service
Prepare TOC’s and TOA’s
Schedule depositions, court reporters, interpreters, videographers, experts, witnesses, etc.
General filing duties (ensure case files are organized and updated)
Coordinate with assigned support staff to ensure assigned attorneys’ items are completed accurately and efficiently.
Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, trial binders, and reports.
Format, input, retrieve, fax, scan, copy, transmit, etc. legal documents.
Perform secretarial/administrative tasks as assigned by attorneys.

Successfully maintain an up-to-date trial calendar, with or without calendaring software
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of court filing deadlines and timelines; able to perform trial countdown
Prepare/draft letters, notices, depos, subpoenas with no grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate ability to accurately e-file
Demonstrate strong ability to work independently with little supervision and exercise independent discretion and judgment accordingly
Ability to supervise and manage multiple cases, deadlines and assigned tasks from multiple attorneys
Demonstrate strong organizational skills
Demonstrate strong sense of urgency
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail – regularly performs work with little or no errors
Provide excellent customer service skills – professionally interacts with clients, vendors, colleagues, and attorneys
Successfully perform and provide secretarial support to at least two high volume attorneys
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Able to perform other secretarial or administrative tasks as assigned
Fluency in the English language (written, verbal, and reading comprehension)
Demonstrate an eager attitude of learning, training, and works well as a team-player
Receives feedback well and able to implement improvements and changes where and when needed
Demonstrate proficiency in knowledge and use of computer equipment and Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel and other office equipment. Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
