Nurse Practitioner (NP) Or Physician Assistant – Urology Oncology
Salary:
 $130,000 – $165,000 based on experience 
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join a leading Urology department with a focus on Urologic Oncology. The APP will provide comprehensive care to oncology patients, coordinate multidisciplinary care, supervise Oncology RNs, lead quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to program growth and clinical research within an outpatient setting. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in Urologic Oncology.

  • Lead oncology-specific patient education, survivorship planning, and care coordination.

  • Supervise Oncology RNs and provide mentorship.

  • Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and workflow efficiency; implement improvements as needed.

  • Develop and maintain program policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Participate in oncology committees, initiatives, and institutional projects.

  • Perform office-based procedures such as catheter changes, urodynamics, pessary changes, and programming of sacral neuromodulation devices.

  • Manage Epic In Basket messages, patient portal communications, and ensure timely documentation.

  • Ensure accurate charge capture and coding compliance.

  • Train new APPs on departmental responsibilities and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ARC-NP accredited or state-approved NP program.

  • NP or PA license 

  • Nurse Practitioners: Preferred, new grads welcome
  • Physician Assistants: Urology and/or oncology experience required 
  • ANCC Board Certification, BLS, and DEA certifications.

  • Urology or surgical experience a plus!
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
