Overview:
Casino Host:
A casino host is a hospitality specialist dedicated to elevating the guest experience on the gaming floor.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Responsible for generating a positive and friendly atmosphere for all casino customers.
- Greets guests in pit and slot areas and assists in issuing complementaries.
- Obtains information on new players, forwards information to service desk to create player cards and maintains their player base.
- Makes follow-up contact to insure return of business with new and inactive customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
This position issues comps but does not comp to the level which requires a casino key employee license as required by N.J.A.C. 19:41-1.1(b)5 and N.J.A.C. 19:45-1.9B.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Three (3) years work experience involving extensive contact with customers or general public.
